2010 An Odyssey!

The end of July took us home to Washington.  Yeah!!!!  Love Love Love my home state!!  Well, except for the democrat leanings.  Don't get me started.  That is another blog.

A trip to Seattle and Quest Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks and Sounders.  A ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and a drive through the Olympics with a stop in Forks to show the kids where the Twilight BOOKS were set.  Of course the movie Twilight was taped in Southern Washington and Northern Oregon and the other movies in Vancouver, Canada.
Mom rented a cabin in Westport just 200 yards from the beach.  Oh heaven.
We went camping in Gifford Pinchot National Forest and had an early first birthday for Miss Miranda who turned 1 on August 31st.

Of course, none of us wanted to return to Kansas. Yuck!!

This year the boys are in 4th and 6th grade.  Both played tackle football and are wrestling.  Daddy is still recovering from the accident including a second surgery on the shoulder in September.

Tyson is still stationed near London and married Keira on November 5th.

My mother and I are hoping to take Miranda and go visit the newlyweds in London in April.  I so hope that works out!!
