Okay, time to catch up. The new baby and daddy's car accident in March where he broke his shoulder and hip have had me out of commission and I have missed almost a year of blogging. I have added all of my posts from my previous blog "The Joys Of Boys" since the new addition has brought in a girl. Although they appear to all be written on the same day because I transferred them, I have added the true dates to the posts. Miranda is now 10 months old, Kristopher 9 and Marcus and Tyson will be 12 and 21 in September.
Tyson was home in February from Lakenheath in England to see his new baby sister for the first time.Marty was the passenger and was carpooling to work when the truck left the road and hit a field approach that spans the ditch.
Marcus went on wheat harvest with Marty to be his leg and arm in a way. He is home now and the crew has moved on to Colorado. The crew this year consists of two young men from Michigan, Randy and Jesse and two men from the local area, Eric and Paul. The kids and I are preparing for our trip to Washington state at the end of this month. I haven't been home in three years. We plan to celebrate Miranda's first birthday a few weeks early in Washington and then again when Marty arrives home for corn harvest.
I have taken up writing again as well as reading as they go hand in hand. I only regret I have so little time to devote to my writing as I am so driven to write and find I feel absolutely imprisoned by my inability to do so as much as I would like.

Tomorrow is the Fourth of July and plans are still up in the air as to how we will celebrate. The fireworks here in town are easy to see from our back yard and I am of the inclination to just grill some brauts and set up with the kids out back and watch the show.
Again, I am hoping that blogging can become a habit. The last year has thrown a lot at me and I am looking to become grounded again.
